When in doubt, wear black and white. It’s the easiest and classiest color combo you can wear, especially for your engagement photos. You can wear a white dress, a black dress, a black & white tuxedo, a white blouse, etc. 

02. SEASONAL

If you’re someone who loves color then it’s a good idea to stick to seasonal colors. If your engagement photos are in the spring then you can wear pastels such as light pinks and baby blues! Finding outfits with seasonal colors in it makes choosing your outfits way easier.

03. SIMPLER IS BETTER

Don’t overthink it. Simpler is always better. If you have those one pair of jeans you love to wear, wear them and pair them with a cute top! Your engagement photos are for you so wear what makes you feel good and don’t overthink it.

04. STAY AWAY FROM FLASHY CLOTHING

Don’t wear anything that might take away from you and your partner. Stay away from those neon colors as much as you love them and don’t go crazy with patterns. It’s better for the camera, the editing, and fewer distractions from a photo-based standpoint!

05. COMFORT

Comfort over everything!! I will say that a million times. Comfort is so important when getting your engagement photos done since you’ll be walking a lot and posing plenty with your partner. Needless to say, wear comfy shoes for your engagement session!
